Alex Semenzato has been at the forefront of innovation for 14 years. With a career that includes spearheading image recognition for eBay, Macy's, Net A Porter and ASOS; Alex has continued to transform businesses with his creative outlook and keen eye for change and growth. 

In 2014, Alex was the founder and CEO of global event series and consultancy, FashTech, bringing the worlds of fashion and technology together. More than 60+ events were hosted between London, New York and San Francisco with 2016 seeing him launch their inaugural FashTech summit, labelled the ‘anti-conference’, in partnership with Condé Nast. The summit saw 300 people, 57 speakers and 60 brands in attendance across two days.

 

After working for creative agency, TwelveA.M, Alex joined Talenthouse in 2018, the world’s largest creator collaboration platform where he was VP, Strategic Partnerships. With over 10M creators located across 195 countries, Alex developed strategic partnerships with major brands and tech platforms such as Snap Inc, Twitch, adidas, Universal Music Group, Epic Games, Meta, Bumble Group and Warner Records to name a few. 

In 2020, Alex identified an opportunity for Talenthouse to provide production services for Augmented Reality and to develop Reality.House, a platform to inspire and up-skill the creative community. In that time Alex has led Creative Direction and managed AR projects with Dua Lipa, Snap Inc, Warner Bros, Facebook, Porsche and Lionsgate.

Following this, in 2021 Alex defined the vision for a magazine that aligns mixed reality with popular culture. As Editor in Chief of Reality.House Magazine, Alex has led a cross-functional team to publish the first XR magazine aligned to a fashion magazine aesthetic. Recognising the lack of representation in the XR industry, Reality.House aims to celebrate POC, LGBTQ+ and female creators, and champion diversity in all corners of the world. 

In 2023, Alex joined 1021 Creative as SVP, Business Development and Strategic Growth. Working with the executive team to develop a new division, enabling brands to collaborate with creators to produce creative for marketing campaigns.

Alex is also Founder and Host of SEEMO - a podcast he formed in 2019 that features creative industry leaders and entrepreneurs, as well as emerging creators, as they share their stories and discuss creativity, culture, the daily grind and everything in between.
